
Pam Wiseman

Pam Wiseman has over 30 years of non-profit executive leadership experience at the local, state, and national levels. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in communication from Northern Illinois University. She is certified in executive and team coaching.
Most recently, she served as the Executive Director of the New Mexico Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NMCADV), a position she held for 15 years, where she led a statewide response to domestic violence.
As Director, Pam spearheaded a successful New Mexico international task force on the effectiveness of abuse intervention programs ( AIP). She also developed and secured increasing amounts of funding for a highly successful children’s capacity building project and helped Animal Protection New Mexico (APNM) to secure state funding. She was awarded the prestigious Milagro award by that group for her contribution to the welfare of animals.
Before serving at NMCADV, she directed a multipurpose domestic violence and sexual assault agency in Illinois for 20 years. While in Illinois, she developed a highly successful community organizing project, focused on selected aspects of the criminal justice system response to domestic violence. She developed a program for those convicted of domestic violence and facilitated educational groups for nearly a decade.
She is the author of a bestselling book on domestic violence and has frequently appeared in local, regional, and national media.
